If you’ve ever emailed us with an inquiry, chances are you’ll have contacted our Customer Service Angel, Emma. At our staff Christmas party awards ceremony she won the award for the staff member to receive more positive feedback from our customers than any staff member EVER! Her style at the office is relaxed and feminine, with a splash of squiz.

Spelly
Spell’s style is the essence that is poured into each Spell collection, because she designs what she wants to wear herself. Her style shifts ever so slightly from season to season, depending on where her little creative compass is pointing, but that essence is always the same. It’s just Spell.

Libby
Libby is the chick that rocks up to work looking totally babe’n all the time – when people visit the office I love pointing to her 6ft glam self and explain “yeah Libby is our Warehouse manager’. Smashing the stereotypes, not a fork lift or a pair of overalls in sight.

Jaimi-Lee
When Jaimi, who juggles our PR and Wholesale departments, arrives at the office in the morning, she have a coffee in her hand – and another at 11 – whoever does the coffee run knows she’s a shoe-in. “Large almond milk latte coming up J”, her barista’s know her by name (or initial in this case). ‘The Off the shoulder Prairie girl top is one of my fav pieces from the summer collection – perfect boho floaty style & cropped just enough to work back effortlessly with my high waisted maxi skirts that I live in. Hat. tick. Office Heels. Tick.”

Mae
“If I could live in a Mini, Vintage Tee and Grungy Boots I would”. Mae, our Graphic Designer who still insists she lives in the 90’s, loves to grunge an outfit up but keep it super cute at the same time. Our Desert Wanderer Printed mini in Sunset looks SO banging worked back with last seasons Crystal Visions tee – customised with a pair of scissors and a lil’ bit of red lip. Oh, and not sure if she’s gonna kill me for mentioning it here, but Mae regularly participates in “Bra-Free Fridays”. We love her so much!!!!

Lisa
Lisa is the captain of our ship. In fact, Spelly and I wouldn’t know what to do without her. She moved up from Sydney almost a year ago to be our Office Manager, and we’ve loved “Spell-afying” her wardrobe. And she’s shown us a thing or two as well! I love seeing how she takes our Spell pieces and gives them a real ‘Sydney’ edge. She pairs Spell with structured, high-end labels I would never have envisioned working with our ‘laid-back’ pieces. She’s also the proud mumma of our Spell mascot, darling Bambi Fox, (the most adorable little French Bulldog above) who visits us every day and helps out with all the office chores.

Nerissa
We see Nerissa’s smiling face a few times a week when she helps to process our orders, sending them out to our customers around the world. “This outfit reminds me of summer and I love wearing white in summer, its fresh and clean”.

Aimee
Aimee dashes between our boutique and Spell HQ. Sometimes she’s attending to our lovely customers and helping them style together outfits in our Byron Bay store, or she’s processing orders at HQ. Either way she always looks rock’n. Personally I have a bit of a tattoo-crush going on her gorgeous Aztec ink, hehe.

Renee
Renee, our Jewellery Designer and all-round ‘go-to girl’ for anything hands-on-creative, won the ‘staff member most likely to wow us all with her outfit each day’ award at our Xmas staff party awards. (Oh, and she’s also our resident size 6 fit model, so it’s not uncommon to find her out in the design studio with her kit off, hiding under a kimono).

Olivia
Olivia moved to Byron Bay to intern for us 2 years ago, and now she heads up our whole production team, which, I can tell you, is no small task. We often talk fondly of how Olivia came to work for us – she stumbled upon our website one day while at her apartment in London, and started jumping up and down on her bed thinking “I’m going to move to Byron Bay and work for this company” She pestered us via email for months and now here she is, a beyond integral part of our team. Since moving to Byron Olivia has shown herself to be the the epitome of the laid back surf girl, and her style reflects that. It’s gorgeous to watch her bring our garments to life and then wear them around the office and around town.
Alyshea
Our Technical Design Assistant, Alyshea, assists Spelly in her Designer studio, and has a real free-spirited earthy style. Her wardrobe is always vintage on vintage with a little Spell mixed in. “I love the colours of our Desert Wanderer Maxi Skirt, it’s vibrant and rich, the fabric is soft and light, the style is flowy, comfortable and goddess like, like all the stuff I love to wear!”. She’s worked it back with vintage boots, belt and plain singlet.

Lulu, Rachel and Luciana
Our gorgeous boutique girls get to dress in Spell gear every day. I love how they all put their own touch on their outfits though, Luciana with her gorgeous flower crowns that she loves, Rach who always looks a little bit rock, and Lulu is just the cutest little minx (at our Summer Soiree she was the one wearing the Mazzy Star skirt up on her hips).

Lizzy (me!)
My style… haha at the moment it’s a little compromised because I don’t fit into any of my clothes! I’m pregnant with my 2nd bubba and my partner Johnny keeps telling me he loves how my body is changing and that it keeps things so exciting (bless him!) so I’m embracing it and finding things that make me feel soft and feminine.
